Stage One: Awareness

Creating content for your marketing strategies can be a bit daunting at times.

Many designers and marketers can be constantly bogged down with trying to make their content absolutely perfect in their eyes.

We are here to remind you it doesn’t have to be perfect!

This is one of the few times where we push quantity over quality.

One of the main reasons to create content is to see how your audience will react to certain material.

In order to do this efficiently, a variety of content can help you determine which strategies are the most effective and bring out the best response from your customer base.

If you’re too worried about making every detail perfect, this might be difficult to do.

Put as much content out there as you can.

Believe it or not, even if you make a mistake, most people won’t even notice it.

If they do, it might even help them connect with you on a more personal level, because after all, everyone makes mistakes.

Creating content isn’t rocket science, hear us break it down for you on Episode 125.

This week we’re continuing the topic from our last episode of content creation.

You don’t need flashy gear or an intricate studio to create amazing content.

Paul brings a perfect example of that with the Instagram account Kihmberlie .

She is a photographer that creates studio quality content with just the resources around her.

On her page, she shows the final product along with the process she went through to create the content and any inspiration.

Kihmberlie’s page is amazing motivation for anyone struggling with content creation.

Also, don’t be afraid to test!

It’s okay if something doesn’t work, as long as you’re learning and adjusting along the way.

You may never know what piece of content a consumer may connect with.

It may be something you did not expect to perform well at all.

Diversify you’re content and keep creating!

Stage Two: List

The last two episodes were all about creating content.

But what do you do once you have all this content to work with?

Use it to grow your email list!

No matter how many times people yell “Email is dead!”, it seems to rise up and prove them wrong time and time again.

According to one study, email will be used by 3 billion people by 2020.

Additionally, 99% of consumers check their email everyday.

Getting consumers aware of your brand is important, but gaining their loyalty should be the goal.

The most effective way to do that is to gain access to their email address.

There are many ways to capture an email.

Having a diverse mix of content and downloadables is a great strategy, along with many others we discuss on Episode 127.

Stage Three: Selling

On recent episodes we have been going through our process that we take most of our clients through.

Step one was “Awareness”.

Step two was “Building your list” or capturing emails.

Now we’re on to everyone’s favorite step, SELLING!

Many think you just put your product in front of me and they will automatically start buying.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that.

You need to build a relationship with the customers.

You do this by getting in front of them over, and over, AND OVER again.

One strategy that has really worked for us recently is retargeting through social media, specifically Facebook.

We see how people respond to the content we put out there, track their behavior, and then retarget them based on that.

The same strategy can be used for email as well!

Stage Four: Loyalty

Welcome to the final episode of the series that describes the process we use right here at our own agency for our clients!

This week we’re talking…. LOYALTY!! WOOP WOOP

Having a customer buy for you is great, but having them come back to your store time and time again is amazing!

These customers are where you can make real money, because you do not have to go through the process of gaining their trust anymore.

There are many different strategies we use to gain a consumer’s loyalty.

The best way to do so is to give them value, over and over again.

Offers can only work so much, you have to provide them with intriguing content that draws their attention.

Once you provide enough value for free, trust me, they will want to repay you.
