Lessons Learned from 2019
One major lesson we took from 2019 is that scaling Facebook is hard. Facebook does not have one method with advertisement that works the same every time. Instead of using the long term conversion on Facebook, use short term. Facebook has “how long does it take people to buy ” window you have to put a target at. With a one day window, we found that it allows for retargeting your consumer very easy. With a longer window, your ad gets more worn out and does not allow for immediate retargeting.
The next lesson we got from 2019 is that email is still king. It keeps consumers up to date without being annoyed. Other methods can become annoying to consumers and ruin business and make it have less value.
Another thing we took from 2019 is to have a long term strategy, not short term. You want quality, returning consumers. You do not want short term, one time consumers. You want consistency with your interaction and efforts. It is also important to keep up with content. It makes your value higher within your company. Consistent content allows you to do things for over a long period of time with value.
Another lesson we learned in 2019 is to have the right people in place. This applies to work place, your business, and who is just in your life in general. By this we mean if people don’t fit, find new people. It doesn’t benefit either party keeping them and having to motivate them. It also doesn’t benefit the employee when they can get into their own niche.
