How RevAir Used Customer Service and Influencers to Build a Multi-Million Dollar Business.
We interview our now client, former listener, Kim Carrasco. She is the product development director at RevAir. This product was on the market for 18 months, starting at zero dollars, and they took it to a multi million dollar business.
Kim points out that customer service was key to their success. She looked into one-on-one customer support that was quick. She enhanced on how she wants people to be a supporter and owner at the same time. If they didn’t own the product, they supported their experience with the company. She wants people to view their experience with the company as a positive thing.
She says a huge key into their success was their social media consistency. They reached out to social media influencers and people in the beauty industry and sent them the product to try. The company did not once spend money on advertisement starting off. Kim also says that staying onto of responding to social media was a huge key. She wanted to be very interactive with the consumers.
She says it’s important to have value and stay in front of your subscribers on a consistent basis. You don’t want to be annoying but you want to be present, not just with a discount but also value.
She encourages purchased with Paypal + Afterpay. She said 30-40% use it. It makes it much easier for the consumer.
