The Importance of Defining A Persona
Know who you (and your product) are AND who you want to serve.
What method works for one may not work for the other. You learn by trying. Learn to identify what you want and who you should go after. You need to know who your selling to in order to figure out how to create a messaging that is more targeted.
You want long term effects of your product. Build a relationship, you want lifetime value. Learn to be specific with your target market. You will find that the consumer will follow through if the advertisement fit is right to them. Learn who your customer is, it makes your marketing become more efficient and cost effective. Do not over stretch your target market, it will weaken your product. Look at your demographics so you can perfect the advertisement for the consumer and find a balance of where you want your target market to be.
