One of the big topics was how many businesses believe that having their products on Amazon “cant hurt.”
It absolutely can.
When you put your products on Amazon, you are also handing over your customers.
They are not YOUR customers, they are Amazon’s, and so is all their data.
If you truly want to build meaningful relationships with your customer base, you have to do it yourself.
Yes it might be harder, but if you want to build a long-term brand, it is necessary.
